Boarding with The Everyday Canine is designed for dogs who do best in a calmer, structured, home environment rather than a loud, high-volume kennel. Dogs in our care are part of a thoughtfully managed daily routine that prioritizes emotional well-being, safety, and individualized attention, while maintaining clear boundaries and supervision at all times.
Ideal Candidates for Lodging
Our boarding program is a great fit for:
• Dogs who do not thrive in traditional kennel environments
• Dogs who benefit from routine and predictability
• Dogs who are comfortable with structure and supervision
• Dogs who prefer calmer environments over constant stimulation
• Owners looking for a more personal, home-based alternative to facility boarding
Boarding may not be a good fit for dogs who require unrestricted free roaming or struggle significantly with structured environments.
What Is Included in Our Boarding
Our home-based boarding experience includes:
• 1–2 individual walks daily
• Structured social interaction when appropriate for your dog
• One-on-one play and engagement throughout the day
• Potty breaks as needed, based on your dog’s routine
• Enrichment activities for mental stimulation
• Plenty of affection, comfort, and calm downtime in a home environment
Participation in social interaction is always optional and based on your dog’s behavior, stress level, and comfort.
PRICING:
Boarding - $60/Day
Boarding w/Training - $150/Day
A FULL DAY AND NIGHT STAY
Each dog’s stay is tailored to their needs, but a typical boarding day may include:
• Morning routines and outdoor breaks, and play groups
• Rotations of play, enrichment, engagement, and rest
• Structured social time
• Afternoon decompression and wind-down
• Evening routines focused on calm and consistency

For safety and supervision, dogs are crated during sleeping hours. We do not allow unsupervised free roaming.
Boarding & Training Option
For dogs who would benefit from additional structure and skill reinforcement, we also offer Boarding with Training. This option includes everything in our standard boarding program, plus:

Daily training sessions integrated into your dog’s routine
Training incorporated into walks and daily activities
Reinforcement of obedience, manners, and engagement skills
Exposure to real-life distractions in a controlled, home-based setting
Boarding + Training is ideal for dogs working on basic manners, leash skills, impulse control, or confidence, but it is not a replacement for a full Board & Train program.
