1 WEEK REFRESHER

For returning clients needing a focused tune-up

Our 1-Week Refresher Board & Train is designed exclusively for returning The Everyday Canine clients whose dogs have previously completed one of our training programs.

This short stay focuses on reinforcing existing skills and addressing 1–2 specific areas that need extra attention. It’s an ideal option for dogs who would benefit from a structured tune-up while boarding in our home-based environment.

Dogs who have trained elsewhere may be eligible with an in-person evaluation prior to booking to ensure this program is an appropriate fit.

  Crate comfort and settling

  Household manners (polite greetings, impulse control, calm behaviour)

2 WEEK FOUNDATION

For Puppies:  Building Confidence  |  Structure |  Basic Manners

Our 2-Week Board & Train: Foundations Program is designed for young dogs under 8 months old who need a strong start in obedience, manners, and confidence.

This program focuses on teaching essential skills while helping puppies learn how to navigate the world calmly and appropriately in a real home environment.

This program is intended for puppies without reactivity or significant behavioral concerns.

If unreported behavioral issues arise during the program, additional training or program adjustments may be required.

PRICE: $2200

Focuses-

  Sit and Down (with duration)

  Stay (assumed stay expectations)

  Place (going to and holding a designed spot)

  Recall foundation (coming when called)

  Loose leash walking

  Crate comfort and settling

  Potty training foundations and consistency

  Household manners (chewing, counter-surfing, barking, impulse control)

  Appropriate social exposure to new environments, people, and dogs

4 WEEK EVERYDAY RELIABILITY

Advanced Obedience  |  Confidence  |  Real-World Reliability

Our 4-Week Board & Train: Everyday Reliability Program is designed for dogs of all ages who have no known reactivity or significant behavioral concerns and whose owners want a higher level of training and real-world application.

This program builds on foundational obedience while introducing more advanced skills, impulse control, confidence-building, and public access work, all within a calm, structured, home-based environment that closely mirrors everyday life.

This program is intended for dogs without reactivity or undisclosed behavioral concerns.

If behavioral issues are not disclosed prior to enrollment and arise during the program, additional training modifications or additional fees may apply.

PRICE: $3650

Focuses-

  Sit and Down with increased duration and distractions

  Stay with greater duration and environmental changes

  Place (including holding the command in busy environments)

  Reliable Recall (coming when called)

  Loose Leash walking with higher expectations

  Crate comfort and extended settling

  Potty habit reinforcement and consistency

  Household manners (jumping, chewing, barking, counter-surfing)

  Impulse Control (waiting calmly for food, doors, toys, etc.)

  Continued appropriate social exposure to people, dogs and new situations

  Polite greetings with strangers and houseguests

If e-collar training is requested during this program, only an approved e-collar (E-Collar Technologies or Dogtra) will be used. Owner's are responsible for the cost of equipment.

Public Access & Real-World Training

  During the final 2 weeks of the program, dogs begin daily, structured field trips to practice skills in real-world

  Field Trips may include, dog friendly retail stores, parks and outdoor public spaces, busy sidewalks and parking lots, group classes, and other dog-friendly businesses

  Public Access Training focuses on calm neutral behavior in high traffic environments, polite leash manners, settling in new stimulating spaces, impulse control outside the home and generalized obedience skills in not familiar environments

Go-Home Support

  Includes a Private Go-Home lesson at pick up

  Review all trained skills and expectations

  Demonstrate proper handling and follow-through

  Discuss progress, strengths and areas to continue working on

  Provide guidance for maintaining consistency at home

  Follow up lesson 7-10 days after program completion

  Access to The Everyday Canine group classes at no charge for one year

6 WEEK FREEDOM PROGRAM

Advanced Obedience  |  Off-Leash Reliability  |  Public Access 

The Freedom Program is a six-week Board and Train program and one of The Everyday Canines most comprehensive training offerings. It is designed for dogs who ae redy to achieve reliable obedience, increased off-leash freedom, and calm, confident behavior in real-world environments.

Because this program includes e-collar conditioning as part of off-leash reliability training, participating dogs must be at least six months old and demonstrate emotional and developmental readiness for this level of training. 

​

This immersive program combines foundational obedience, advanced skill-building, thoughtful e-collar conditioning and extensive public access training- all within our structured, home-based environment. THe goal is not just obedience, but a dog who can navigate both home life and public spaces with clarirty, confidence, and control.

  Training toold are introduced onlly after understanding is clearly established. Dogs must first demonstrate consistent       competency with verbal commands and leash-based cues.

  The e-collar is not introduced until approximately Week 3. It is used at low levels as a communication and reinforcement tool,     never as a shortcut or punishment. This approach ensures clarity, reduces confusion and supports long-term reliability on and off   leash.

   

  Only an approved e-collar (E-Collar Technologies or Dogtra) will be used. Owner's are responsible for the cost of equipment.

  Public Access & Real-World Training

  A core component of the Freedom Program is extensive public access training

8 WEEK BEHAVIOR & MASTERY

Behavior Modification  |  Advanced Training  | Long-Term Support

The Behavior & Mastery Program is an Eight-Week Board & Train program. It is the most inensive and comprehenive offering at The Everyday Canine. It is designed for dogs of all ages, including those experiencing behavioural challenges, requiring modification, or working towards advanced, owner-specific training goals.

This program is appropriate for dogs who need time, structure, consistency to address deeper behavior patters - not just obedience. Training takes place in our structured, home-based environment, allowing us to work through challenges in a realistic, controlled setting that mirrors everyday life.
